Pain management is much more than taking pills.
Although a well thought-out medication plan is helpful, there are many other valuable tools that can and should be used to help people get their pain under control and their life back on track.
We have found analgesic medication alone is not adequate to resolve chronic pain. These are the eight additional therapies we have found necessary for our patients.
At Fireweed Health Care, patients’ compliance with these eight therapies is monitored with the Stop Pain Scale. A perfect score is 16 and our most compliant patients generally score 10 or higher. Our experience shows that patients with scores of 10 and higher experience less pain and have a higher quality of life.
The following information is for patient information only and is not interactive. A score of 16 is meeting all objectives of the Stop Pain Scale and our most compliant patients generally score 10 or higher.
